What we keep
Your email, to write to you. It’s the only thing required.
Your phone number, if you add it and check that we can tell you on WhatsApp. We keep it with its country code (+1 …) and check that it’s a possible mobile number in that country, but we don’t send you an SMS code to verify it. Without that box checked, we don’t keep the number.
What you choose to tell us: whether you train, coach or run a gym.
Where you came from: the language of the page and which of the three Sprots pages you used.
The dates and the emails: when you joined, when we sent you the last list email and how many confirmation emails we’ve sent (never more than three), when you confirmed and, if you leave, when.
What for
To let you know the day Sprots is on the App Store, by email and, if you checked it, on WhatsApp.
If you’re a coach or run a gym, also to email you before launch and show you Sprots first. You choose this in “How will you use Sprots?”.
Nothing else: this isn’t the krloz.co newsletter, we don’t send you ads and we don’t hand the list to anyone. We also count how many joined by language and by type, without names, to prepare the launch.
The legal basis is your consent: you give it when you join and confirm it from your email. You can withdraw it whenever you want, at no cost and without giving reasons, by leaving the list.
Your IP and your browser
We don’t keep them on the list. As with any visit to krloz.co, the Google Cloud server records the IP and browser of each request in its technical logs, which Google keeps for 30 days. The IP is also used for a few minutes in the server’s memory to stop anyone trying to add hundreds of addresses. These pages don’t use analytics or third-party cookies.
Who else is involved
Google: the site, the database and the hi@krloz.co mailbox are on Google Cloud and Google Workspace, in the United States (us-central1). A copy of every email we send you stays in the sent folder of hi@krloz.co.
WhatsApp (Meta), only if you checked it: we send the message one by one, from our phone and without automated tools, and it goes through WhatsApp’s servers under their own rules.
No one else.
How long
- If you don’t confirm, we delete the entry after 30 days, or 7 days after the last confirmation link if we sent it later.
- If you leave, we delete your phone number right away and the rest after 30 days.
- The whole list, with the copies of the emails in hi@krloz.co and the WhatsApp chats of the launch message, is deleted no later than six months after the launch.
How we protect it
The database can’t be reached from the internet: only the site gets in. Data travels encrypted, and the links in our emails are signed, so no one can forge one to confirm or unsubscribe someone else.
Your rights
You can ask us to see what we have about you, correct it, delete it, object to its use, block it while we review a complaint and take it with you in a file. Write to hi@krloz.co from the address on the list: we answer within 30 days. If we don’t answer or you’re not satisfied, you can file a complaint with Chile’s Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales.
How to leave
Every email we send has “Unsubscribe”, which opens a page with a button to leave; many email apps also show their own button. You can also write to hi@krloz.co.
Leaving this list doesn’t touch anything else: if you use Sprots or get the krloz.co newsletter, that stays the same.
Minors
The list is for people 16 or older, same as Sprots. By joining, you tell us you are.
